Nextel Cup Update

Tony almost pulled off a worst-to-first comeback, driving from the rear of the field to a strong third place finish in the Citizens Bank 400 at Michigan International Speedway. It is his fourth top five and tenth top ten of 2007. He lost one spot in the standings to race-winner Carl Edwards and now sits seventh, 486 points behind series leader Jeff Gordon.

Remember. It's a long season.

Tony makes his 300th NASCAR Nextel Cup Series Start at Infineon Raceway. California's Sonoma Wine Country has been good to Stewart, as two of his 29 Nextel Cup victories have come on the winding circuit, including his first road course victory in 2001 and his 20th career win in 2005.
